Dr Joshua Laing is an experienced neurologist and epileptologist specializing in Seizures and Epilepsy.

Dr Laing provides comprehensive and personalised care for patients with seizures and epilepsy, including first seizures and adolescents transitioning from pediatric to adult epilepsy care. He has specific expertise in current and emerging advanced epilepsy therapies including curative epilepsy surgery (SEEG, ECOG, LITT) and neuromodulation for drug-resistant epilepsy, accepting local and interstate referrals. 

Dr Laing is Deputy Director of Epilepsy at the Alfred Comprehensive Epilepsy Program and Director of Epilepsy and EEG services at Peninsula Health, as well as supervising neurology and epilepsy training. With a PhD in clinical epilepsy, his academic pursuits as a clinical research fellow at Monash University Department of Neurosciences are in clinical epilepsy management, epilepsy surgery and neurophysiology techniques. Dr. Laing is committed to providing the highest standard of care, improving outcomes, and enhancing the quality of life for his patients.
